Starting this year, YU will receive KRW 920 million annually for a total of KRW 3.6 billion over four years from the Ministry of Employment and Labor

 YU (President CHOI Oe-chool) has been selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 'Customized Employment Service Project for Students' project. Through this project selection, YU will receive KRW 920 million every year for four years until 2027 from the Ministry of Employment and Labor, with a total project cost of KRW 3.68 billion, to promote customized career design and employment support projects for students.

YU was selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 'University Job Plus Center' in 2023, which will receive KRW 720 million every year for a total of KRW 3.6 billion for five years, and will provide various employment support programs for current students and job-seekers by being selected for the 'Customized Employment Service for Students' project.

 YU's expertise in career education and employment connection has been recognized by external evaluations. Since 2017, YU has been evaluated as excellent for seven consecutive years by the Ministry of Employment and Labor's University Job Center and University Job Plus Center (base type) projects, and has expertise in carrying out various financial support projects in the field of career education and employment linkage, including the Ministry of Education, Korea Scholarship Foundation, and Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

 The 'Customized Employment Service for Students' project, which will be implemented from this year, will be divided into the 'Build Up Project' focused on lower grades and the 'Jump-Up Project' focused on upper grades. The 'Build-Up Project' for first- and second-year students is designed to help them design their career paths early and strengthen their customized capabilities through career exploration using AI and establishing a career portfolio based on 1:1 in-depth counseling. The Jump-Up Project, which focuses on third- and fourth-year students, diagnoses the capabilities of job seekers, sets goals for desired occupations, and provides personalized training and work experiences to support job search activities.
